Why Choose Us?

At Fisher Dore, we go beyond above for our clients.

You are not alone.

We take the time to listen to you, understand what caused your injuries and their impact on you and then work with you to develop a strategic plan to formulate the claim and negotiate an outcome that maximises the compensation you deserve.

Unlike many of our competitors, because we act on a no win no fee basis and do not charge uplift fees or use litigation lenders, we actively work to keep our professional fees down to maximise the amount of money you receive from the claim process.

In engaging us, your claim is in safe hands from the start.

We go above and beyond

Fisher Dore are award winning lawyers in Queensland. When you need advice and representation for criminal or compensation matters, our team can assist.

When things go wrong in life, we all reach out to people we can trust. Legal experts who will treat you with respect and provide professional advice. Our team understand the complexities of the legal system and the people in it. Lawyers with extensive experience, who have achieved incredible results for our clients. We will be there to provide expertise, guidance and support. But more than that, we believe in justice and fairness and will go above and beyond to fight for you.

Most law firms will say you can trust them but here’s two reasons why we really mean it and why thousands of Queenslanders have put their faith in us since 1977.

This is the driving force behind our team and why people come to work at Fisher Dore. We often pick cases that matter to us like when we find good people in bad situations that we know are simply not right. When we see a wrong we go beyond and above to make it right. We have many clients that have experienced this and you can read reviews from these people here on our website.

We work with people who have cases that matter. It matters that people should be given a second chance; it matters that the law can tarnish someone’s reputation for life; it matters that people shouldn’t be charged with offences that they didn’t commit; it matters that people should be compensated for harm and it matters that people should be together with their loved ones. We fight for what matters in these and many other difficult situations.

Trust is earned and we have earned the trust of so many people just like you, people for whom we have often achieved incredible legal results.

This is why Fisher Dore are award winning lawyers in Queensland. If you need advice and representation for criminal or compensation matters fill out our confidential enquiry form now.

For Nick Dore and the team, being a legal practitioner isn’t just a job. Our team live and breathe the law and our clients’ cases. We appreciate that the people we represent are often dealing with the most difficult situation of their lives. We want our clients to understand every aspect of their case and be aware of all possible options and outcomes. The outcomes of our cases can have life-changing consequences. These outcomes matter, as does the process and the way we communicate. We are here to help our clients navigate a complex legal system. We support those who don’t have a voice, but deserve to be heard. We put everything into looking out for our clients. Going above and beyond is the only way we know how to operate.

Fees and charges

At Fisher Dore, we are transparent and open about our fee structure and the way we charge for our expertise and services. If you need further information, a detailed breakdown or just want something explained – we’re happy to help. It’s natural to want to know what our services will cost: we keep things clear and simple. After you contact us or fill out our confidential enquiry form, we will set up an initial meeting with you, which can be online if you prefer.

Depending on your circumstances either at this meeting or soon after we will provide you with an up front Cost Agreement and a Disclosure Statement. These documents explain your rights and obligations, as well as ours.

Legal fees usually fall into two categories – fixed-fee or time-costed. In most of our cases our clients choose fixed fees which means the cost generally won’t change during the course of your matter.

We are transparent and open about our fee structure and the way we charge for our expertise and services.
